Our Mission

PRENATAL CLASSES

  • Bi-Weekly: Monday and Wednesdays
  • Open to pregnant women in all stages of pregnancy
  • Variety of topics discussed
  • Nutritional snacks
  • Food supplements provided bi-weekly upon class attendance

POSTNATAL CLASSES

  • Bi-Weekly: Wednesdays
  • Open to mothers with babies 6 months and under
  • Variety of topics discussed
  • Nutritional snacks
  • Food supplements provided bi-weekly upon class attendance

SEEDLINGS PRESCHOOL PREPARATION PROGRAMS

  • Twice Week: Tuesday & Thursdays

  • Open to 3 year olds

  • Morning Class: 10am
  • Afternoon Class: 1pm

  • For children not attending preschool or a licensed daycare

  • Created to help prepare your child for preschool or head start

  • Detecting possible future developmental delays through testing

  • Children learn routine and how to socialize with others their age

  • Must be FULLY potty trained

  • No cost

MONTHLY CHILD CLINIC

  • Second Tuesday of every month
  • Open to all parents with children 6 years and under
  • Children are weighed, measured and immunized by our public health nurse
  • Call to schedule an appointment


SOME OTHER SERVICES WE OFFER ARE:

  • Workshops for women and men dealing with issues relevant to parenting, personal health and well being.

  • Advocacy on our clients behalf

  • Transportation provided to and from programs when needed 

  • Breastfeeding and parenting preparation

  • Labour and Birthing preparation
