Reclaiming and Reconnecting through Language, Culture and Art!

•Knowledge keepers who hold the history of our people and teach our 60s scoop survivors, families, and those affected lifelong teachings that will potentially bring wellness and improve social determinants of health and mental health.

•Language classes that would include Cree, Anishinaabe, Dakota, and Michif holds the stories of who we are as people and creates our identity. Having an identity and purpose is vital to our hierarchy of needs in improving personal betterment and mental wellness.

•Art can be considered a form of therapy that encourages the development of healthy coping strategies.

•Culture is the foundation of how all other programs will thrive, our 60’s scoop survivors, families and those affected, have strongly recommended more cultural learning in all programs.
